Our Fall semester classes are in full swing.

HOC will be offering the following classes
for the Spring semester:

Phlebotomy/Medical Lab Assistant Emergency Medical Tech
Medical Terminology Medical Assistant
Introduction to Health Science Pharmacy Technician
Medical Receptionist Healthcare Interpreting
Anatomy & Physiology RN Refresher/Reentry
To enroll in any of the HOC programs, follow these 3 steps:
Step 1: Orientation
At the orientation, you will receive all information and registration requirements for the class you wish to enroll in. Any student wishing to register for any of the classes above must first attend an orientation. No need to sign-up. No cost. (Sorry, no children.)
YOU MUST ATTEND ONE OF THE ORIENTATIONS BELOW:
Step 2: HOC Entry Screening Test
While attending the orientation, you will sign up for an Entry Screening Test. This is a basic test that covers 7th grade English and Math. You will need to pass this test with a minimum score of 70% to be eligible for registration. The test will be offered the week of November 17, 2014. You will then be notified by mail of your score. The top scores will be given a registration appointment time.
***Note: if you have already attended an orientation for the class you are interested in and have already taken and received a passing score on the Entry Screening Test within the past year, and want to use that score to try to get into a Spring class, please call the office. We will use your previous score if you have met the requirements.
Step 3: Registration
Come to HOC at your appointed registration time.
Registration will be the week of December 8, 2014.
ADDITIONAL MEDICAL CLASSES FOR SPRING 2015
If you wish to enroll in any of the classes below, no orientation is required.
Registration begins December 2, 2014, at 8:00 am either online or at the HOC office.

Important Dates to Remember for Students Applying to the LVN Program
HOC offers typing tests from 4:30 - 5:30 pm
on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
