Classes are open to adults who are 18 years of age or older.
The Grossmont Adult School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Accreditation is an assurance of quality and a guarantee that classes taken for credit will be accepted for credit by other educational institutions. All teachers are certified in their teaching area by the State Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing.
Tuition and supply fees for classes are listed in the class schedule next to the course offering.
Official records of the Grossmont Adult School are held as confidential and no record information regarding a student will be released without prior written authorization from the student.
To request a transcript please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information: Name, date of birth, course, year class was taken, contact phone number with area code, would you like to pick up the transcript or have it mailed elsewhere (address please), official - embossed and sealed - $5.00 (please send or bring in to the office $5.00). Unofficial (free).
There is a $25 withdrawal fee if a student withdraws prior to the second class meeting. No refunds will be made after the second class meeting. There are no refunds on books sold through the HOC office.

It is the policy of the Governing Board to provide an educational environment free of sexual harassment. The Governing Board condemns sexual harassment of any district student by any person. The district administration will investigate and resolve all alleged complaints of sexual harassment of and take disciplinary action as required and authorized to remedy the situation. Each complaint shall be promptly investigated in a way that respects the privacy of all parties concerned. There will be no retaliation against any student for filing a complaint of sexual harassment or participating n the complaint process.Complaints of sexual harassment shall be filed and processed in accordance with the complaining procedures set forth in Administrative Regulation AR5145.7.
Any student who believes that he or she has been the victim of sexual harassment should report it to the principle or designee or to another district administrator and obtain a copy of AR5145.7.
