Our spring semester has begun.  Your next opportunity to start the TEAS Test Prep course program at HOC will be Nov/Dec 2019.  Please check the HOC website again in February 2019 for detailed information.


Course Description:

The TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is a multiple choice exam that measures entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.  Any student wishing to apply for our VN program must first take this test.  The review class will cover the following:

  1. Reading Comprehension:a variety of short passages, charts, and diagrams on differing topics.
  2. English and Language Usage:Vocabulary, punctuation, and grammar
  3. Math:Basic math problems, word problems, algebraic equations, and mathematical reasoning.
  4. Science:Anatomy and physiology review, as well as science review.
