How to get started?

Our spring semester has begun.  Your next opportunity to start a program at HOC will be fall 2019.  Please check the HOC website again in February 2019 for detailed information.


Course Description:

This course provides entry-level skills.  Instruction will cover the following areas:  basic diagnostic coding (ICD-10-CM), procedural (CPT) coding, and HCPCS level II coding.  Jobs in the filed include medical insurance biller, medical insurance clerk, front office medical assistant, and accountant or information clerk.



A passing score on the HOC Math/English Assessment test and successful completion of Medical Terminology and Administrative Medical Assistant.
