Course Description:
The medical field has progressed to the world of digital record keeping; it is important to keep up to date to better serve your patients. Learn the technology associated with electronic patient records! In this class, you will navigate training software to learn how to create electronic patient records! In this class, you will navigate training software to learn how to create electronic patient history, electronic scheduling and appointments, enter vital signs, enter doctor’s notes, track immunizations, reminders, and much more. The information learned in this class will help you in your allied health class (Pharmacy Technician, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, etc.) or in your nursing program.
Prerequisite:
No high school diploma or equivalent required for this class.
This class is intended for:
Current students, enrolled in a HOC program
Past students, graduate from a HOC program
Those currently working in the healthcare field (proof of current employment required)

Refunds for this class are permitted only until the 2nd class meeting. A $25.00 administrative processing fee will be charged for withdrawal/refund of this class.
