To enroll in our programs, you must attend an Orientation (see Orientation and Testing Information below or go to "How to Get Started" tab).  We will give you all the information you need to about the class you are interested in and how to register.

Step 1:  Attend an orientation at The Health Occupations Center.  At this orientation, you will receive all information and registration requirements for the class you wish to enroll in. Any student wishing to register for any of the classes above must first attend an orientation.  This orientation is free and open to the public.  No registration is required to attend the orientation. Please look for signage when you arrive at HOC for the orientation room number.

Step 2:  Take the HOC  Entry Screening Test.  While attending the orientation, you will sign up for an Entry Screening Test.  This is a basic test that covers 7th and 8th grade levels of English and math.  You will need to pass this test with a minimum score of 70% to be eligible for registration.  The test will be offered several times the week of November 13, 2017.  You will then be notified by email of your score.  The top scores will be given a registration appointment time.

Step 3:  Come to the Health Occupations Center Office at your appointed registration time.  Registration will begin the week of December 11, 2017.

Note:

                                The classes below do not require an orientation.                           You may register for most of these Spring 2018 semester classes in the HOC office starting Monday, December 11, 2017.

  • Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS/CPR)
  • IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal
